FRIENDS FOREVER
Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbs, Charlotte York and Samantha Jones of the Famous Sex and the City but here in the Philippines, their real names are Nelson Bautista (Carrie), Hector Hilado (Miranda), Carlo Soterno (Charlotte) and Rommel Mampang (Samantha). hehehhe...i may say , we are truly a Sex and the City fanatic...its always the subject of our converstaion , aside from boys...you know that.
Sex and the City is all about love, friendship, boyfriends , labels and their adventures on sex. Just like the four of us, hahahha...we always converse on these wonderful subjects...we laugh about everything.
Love....love is in the air.the four girls of SATC made a history esp on their journey and search for love. Carrie found her love on Mr. Big. Miranda is very happy again with Steve. Charlotte is so much in love and happy with her family and Samantha, who is still single after a long relationship with model Smith Jerrod.
For the four of us,we still continue searching and looking for Love and of our Mr. Right. i have lost contact with Nelson but i know he is in love with his job now in the Brokeback Mountain.hehehhe!Hector is happy also with his special someone right now. Carlo on the other hand is single, very much single. well, obviously Mr Right is not yet in the corner. and Me, hahahha....just like samantha jones! bibitinin ko muna kayo dito.hehehhe
Career is always a priority in our friendship.Just like the four girls of SATC.And about my other friends, i have lost contact with Nelson already after so many years but i do still have some informations about him, and i am happy because he is happy now with his yearning. Hector on the other side is very busy with his job now as an Executive Secretary in a Government institution. Carlo is here in the Metro, busy on his graveyard shift as a call center agent of KGB Phil. While me,busy as a bee here in the Metro also. i am into Sales and Marketing. Our products are mainly on the business side. Franchising Business, etc.So if you want to start a business you can ring my digits, now!
my two friends are not with us here in the Metro, Hector and Nelson. Only carlo is with me here. but everytime we hang out, we always include them in our happenings.
We always attend events and recently we were present in the Philippine Fashion Week held last October 26-31, 2010 at the SMX Convention Ctr, Manila. The show was definitely a dream come true for us..and i can say now, we are really living the dream, the Sex and the City dream...just like the girls of SATC. Fashion is their world and happiness and i may say, ours too!hehehhe
hmmmmm..the next page of this blog, i will endorse it to my other wonderful friends.i want to start this and hopefully they will continue...Nelson (Carrie) is really the writer, and Hector (miranda) is also very good on this field. and Carlo (Charlotte) will definitely give time on writing his piece. so, thank you so much for your time reading this blog.muah!

MY SHANGHAI EXPERIENCE
Shanghai (Chinese: 上海) is the largest city in China in terms of population and one of the largest metropolitan areas in the world, with over 20 million people.[5] Located on China's central eastern coast at the mouth of the Yangtze River, the city is administered as a municipality of the People's Republic of China with province-level status.[6]
Originally a fishing and textiles town, Shanghai grew to importance in the 19th century due to its favourable port location and as one of the cities opened to foreign trade by the 1842 Treaty of Nanking.[7] The city flourished as a center of commerce between east and west, and became a multinational hub of finance and business by the 1930s.[8] However, Shanghai's prosperity was interrupted after the 1949 Communist takeover and the subsequent cessation of foreign investment. Economic reforms in 1990 resulted in intense development and financing in Shanghai, and in 2005 Shanghai became the world's largest cargo port.[9]
The city is an emerging tourist destination renowned for its historical landmarks such as the Bund and Xintiandi, its modern and ever-expanding Pudong skyline including the Oriental Pearl Tower, and its new reputation as a cosmopolitan center of culture and design.[10][11] Today, Shanghai is the largest center of commerce and finance in mainland China, and has been described as the "showpiece" of the world's fastest-growing economy.[12]

MESSAGE OF INSPIRATION
Written By Rommel Mampang for Col.Evangeline E. Mampang for her Inspirational Message during the Closing Ceremony of CMC College of Criminolgy Intern Graduates Batch 2009.
My speech will not be very long, it’s not because I did not prepare any but because I want it to be short and precise and I want to make you remember every single detail of it.
To start , A wonderful day to all of you.
My dear interns, you have come to the chapter of your college life wherein you are trained to be equipped and ready for another phase of your life. Being an intern is a preparation, self-evaluation and a test of your learning and of your aspiration. Indeed, the training was a tough one or I should say a very tough one ( breath deeply hahaha), but it’s not just a mere experience, it’s the start. A commencement to another journey. And that journey, my dear interns is in your hands. We may not know what road are you taking but we believe as long as you have it with you the learning and the training that you have gained during your college life, you will have a safe journey ahead. Well, there are humps along the way, there are obstacles, so be firm and tough.
I’m saying these because my journey is not very easy too. I did not reach this point by just sitting. It’s an up and down journey, my dear interns. But I did not lose hope and I did not give in because I have with me the will and the dream that one day, i will become what I want it to be. With God’s grace and my determination, I was able to reach my dream.
Well, enough of my story. This day is for all of you. And the next day, weeks, and years will be your story. Hoping that all of you will have great journey. I am very much confident with that because we came from the same institution that molds and nourishes great leader in the future.
My speech has ended, as I was saying, it’s not long.
My fervent gratitude for the chance to inspire you all and my congratulations to all of you, graduates.
GOOD LUCK AND BE PROUD!
Thank you very much!

Written for the Report of My friend(Mherlyn Masaido)
I want to start my Profile by my motto: “Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up”. My inspiration from the words of Thomas Edison. I always look at life in a very positive way. It’s my drive to be more determined in everything that I do. Being optimistic is one thing I can be proud of. I never gave negative feelings the chance to come in my way . Obstacles come and go but I don’t lose my courage in fighting. I put in my mind that I can overcome every single trial in my daily living.
I am a simple person with big dreams. I am a family oriented person. My family is my number one inspiration in my life. My aspirations and my accomplishments in life are always in dedication for my family. My mother is a Police Enforcer, business oriented person, disciplinarian, not so strict but very vocal in terms of responsibility and management both in school and at home. My father is a retired banker. He’s a one-word man. He talks very frequent but precise and true. I have two brothers and one sister, all professional. During the earlier days, being the eldest of the four siblings, I became mature esp. in the decision making. My mother used to teach me how to be responsible esp. doing the household chores. From cooking to cleaning the house and from gardening to washing the plates. That is why, until now, I am so independent in everything. I can manage myself even without supervision because of the things that my parents taught me.
I am a God fearing person. I have gained such value from the school to which I’ve studied for almost 15 years and from my parents who are always there to nourish me with good values. With that, I learned to respect other people, to be honest in everything that I do, and to be humble in many ways. I am also people oriented person. I enjoy talking to people. Conversing with them, I gained knowledge. I learned many things from A-Z from talking to different kinds of people. I am very friendly; this is one trait I am very certain of. Not every individual are born to be friendly, I believe. I can easily adjust to different kinds of people and place. I am very outgoing and energetic. I enjoy doing things and that makes me active everyday.
Every person has his strong points. I believe my strength is my personality. I have the skill to communicate both orally and written and mingle with different kinds of people. I am a work-oriented person. I have values such as love of work, respect to other people and determination to succeed in everything I do. I have skills that can be very useful to the work field that I’ll be getting into. One is hosting. I host events like parties and that involves talking and organizing. I have been a peer counselor during my school days and that gave the opportunity to hear other people concerns like emotional problems. My being a counselor helped me motivate other people and it’s a big factor for any sales person to have that skill. If there are strong points, we also have some weak points. I believe, we can never really tell the kind of person that we become if we do not see our weaker side. I tend to work hard and forget I have to give ample time to myself. Well, I consider that a somehow as a weak side. Everything in life should be balanced. To accomplish everything you have to balance yourself. Time management is very important. You have to manage your time for work and time for yourself. If work gives you more time, work hard for it. But when you already have the chance to have some rest give yourself a break. Our body is the foundation of our soul. If we lose our body, chances, we may never fulfill every single task we have to make.
Convincing is a strategy. Selling is a skill. In the world of Sales, both selling and convincing should go hand in hand. With the training that I have from my previous employment and with the skills that I have I believe I am very much capable of convincing other people. The very first thing that a sales person should do is to know the customer first. Knowing your buyer will somehow gives you the chance to talk to him and motivate him/her to buy your product. After knowing your buyer, you have to befriend your buyer. In that way, your buyer feels at ease with you. Well in the verse of dealing your products to your buyer, explain and show to him/ her that you really know the product and will somehow make him realize that he has to buy your product because he really desires to have that. With confidence and product knowledge and a little bit of experimentation in talking, rest assured, you can close the deal.
You have just read a part of me.I wrote this in answer to the questions given by friend. She needed to ask something for report or something.
Hope you like it.hehehhe.

FACTS ABOUT DRINKING WATER (ALKALINE WATER)
Water is our most important nourishment and fundamental for good health. A human being consists of 70 % water. Water is the key to all bodily functions. Polluted water may pose a significant health risk.
The quality of drinking water, which has surface water as its source, is steadily deteriorating because of pollutants and acid rain. Even water is becoming acidic. At a pH of 6 crab's die, roach and salmon die at 4, and all fish die at a pH of 3. Bacteria, algae, chloroform (from chlorinating), nitrates and not least dangerous heavy metals, for example cadmium and aluminum, may have acidified poor quality water. These pollutants may come from factory discharges, agriculture, sewer pipes, water mains and acid rain.
The Importance of Water:
Water is found throughout the body, both inside and outside the cells. Water is the key to all body functions. Our blood contains of 90 % of water. It is the water that carries nourishment to all living cells. Nourishment for body cells and waste products that are formed in connection with metabolism are transported with water. Water must be so pure that the organism's various cells are not damaged. Under normal conditions, a person needs 1.5 - 2.5 litres per day.
Water sustains all forms of life, in fact as humans our bodies are 70-90% water and most of the food we eat contains 70-90% water. All body fluids contain water. Water adjusts the body's temperature and, through urination and perspiration, is the main way to rid the body of toxins. Most of us do not drink enough water and are, therefore, dehydrated to some extent. For the body to function properly, it is imperative to be properly hydrated. Drinking the ionized alkaline water daily, assists the body in flushing out toxic, acidic wastes.
How ionized alkaline water helps:
Alkaline water works in two ways: First, let's look at pH or the degrees of acidity or alkalinity. pH ranges from 0-14 with 7 neutral, l-6 is acidic and above 7 basic or alkaline. Our body systems work to keep our blood and the fluids surrounding our cells slightly alkaline. The process of metabolism - the digestion and burning of our foods to produce energy - results in waste products. These waste products are acidic. If conditions were ideal, we'd get rid of our acidic wastes as fast as they formed through breathing and through the kidneys, bowels and skin.
Even under the best conditions a diet of largely fresh alkaline foods and regular exercise-acidic wastes build up in our bodies. Air pollution, processed foods, pesticides, and too much stress are adding to the toxic waste burden our systems struggle to eliminate from the body. Many health experts agree that an overly acidic system also burdens the immune system and leads to disease.
How we can flush out these acidic wastes:
Drinking alkaline water daily assists the body to flush out the build-up of toxic wastes. To safely rid the body of stored acidic wastes, the alkaline water must contain, however, the original alkaline minerals that occur naturally in water.
In addition to the alkaline minerals, the alkaline water is rich in oxygen. Electrolysis separates water molecules into acidic water-positively charged hydrogen ions (H+) and alkaline water-negatively charged hydroxyl ions which have both an oxygen and a hydrogen atom (OH-). The alkaline water is, therefore, rich in oxygen.
Free radicals, disease and aging:
The disarming of free radicals is the second way in which alkaline water works to improve our health. You've probably heard about free radicals - they are mentioned frequently in health articles and in advertising for antioxidant supplements. Many health researchers point to free radicals as the cause of disease and aging. Antioxidants are, therefore, recommended to scavenge free radicals. Our bodies as part of the chemical reactions in cell respiration, although destructive, produce free radicals, naturally. The problem, today, is one of overproduction of free radicals. In response to an overload of toxic wastes, our bodies produce an abundance of free radicals. A free radical is an unstable, or active, form of oxygen with an urgent need to find an electron. They usually rip these electrons from cell membranes. When too many free radicals are produced, they attack the membranes of healthy cells. Over time, the damage shows up as a disease or the signs of aging.
A safe way to disarm free radicals:
Alkaline ionized water, produces a safe source of free electrons to neutralize free radicals. Here's how the alkaline water works to disarm free radicals:
It has a mass of electrons to donate to free radicals. For example, water with a pH of 7 has an oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) of +400 mV to +500 mV. This means, it is apt to take rather than to give electrons. Alkaline with a pH of 8,6, on the other hand, has a negative redox-potential of approximately (-) 150 mV to (-) 250 mV. This means it has a large mass of electrons ready to donate to electron-thieving free radicals.
• Is a natural antioxidant.
• Enhances delivery of nutrients.
• Increases stable oxygen.
• Improves the taste.
• Oxidation - Reduction Potential
In nature, oxidation-reduction reactions occur incessantly. Irons rust, oils deteriorate, metal accessories discolor, foods rot, all because oxidation. Liver spots (chloasma), freckles, etc., about which one may worry are also a result of oxidation, as also is atmospheric pollution, which is not other than a process or an outcome of oxidation reductions.
On the other hand, similar reactions also take place ceaselessly in human body. In chemical terms, oxidation-reduction reactions are exchanges of electrons, where electric potential is bound to arise. This electric potential is called "oxidation-reduction potential". In-vivo abnormalities of this potential seem to be heavily related to human health.
You may have heard of the term "active oxygen". Of course, oxygen is a vital substance, which is indispensable for not only humanity but also all the rest of life on this planet. Be that as it may, oxygen in an active state that has the property of violently reacting with other substances. Often, it even destroys normal cell tissues (in a phenomenon partly reported to be cancerous). Moreover, arteriosclerosis, diabetes, ageing, etc., have much to do with in-vivid oxidation. Indeed, our environment has large varieties of oxidizing substances that adversely affect human organism.
Oxidizing substances, as such, may be the same but their actions vary with their environment, acidic or alkaline. Estimates are that in an acid environment, oxidizing substances act violently, where in an alkali environment they act moderately.
Minerals are ionized in a phenomenon chemically described as "ionization through emission of electrons". In other words, other substances have thereby been reduced chemically. In its long travel underground, natural spring water chemically reduces oxidizing substances below ground and emerges as mineral-rich reducing water. Its electric potential is stabilized at a level suitable for human body.
Starting point of water -- Natural water (natural spring water)
Natural spring water dissolves minerals; is low and stable in electric potential, and affords huge energy to the growth of organism (living things). The "oxidation- reduction potential" of natural water roughly ranges between plus 300 mV and minus 30 mV. By contrast, city tap water has an electric potential of plus 700 mV or thereabouts, it being "artificial" water with chlorine added to it as an oxidizing agent.
Drink Alkaline Ion Water
Research in Japan since the 1950's and testimonials indicate the following conditions have been improved from drinking alkaline ion water:
Arthritis, Chronic constipation, Diabetes, Chronic diarrhea Heartburn, Chronic fatigue, Indigestion, High blood pressure, Leg cramps, Poor circulation, Migraines, Nausea, Obesity Osteoporosis, Psoriasis, Stress.
Athletic performance is enhanced as alkaline ion water reduces over acidic body chemistry and increases stabilized oxygen. Nutrients are also more readily absorbed.
Bottled waters vary is quality. If you are interested in the BEST, Rain has it all: ultra purified, alkaline pH, organic trace minerals, microstructured, and proper electrolyte balance. This is the BEST bottled water available.
Acid-Alkaline Balance
Proper Health starts with the correct acid-alkaline balance in your body. The pH level (acid - alkaline measurement) of our internal fluids affects every cell in our bodies. Extended acid imbalances of any kind can overwhelm your body, and lead to health complications.
Just as the body regulates its temperature in a rigid manner, so will it manage to preserve a very narrow pH range - especially in the blood. As a matter of fact, the body will go to such great lengths to maintain a blood pH of 7.365 that it will even create stress on other tissues, body systems, and organs to do so. Chronic acidity will interrupt all cellular activities and functions - it interferes with life itself.
When the pH of the body gets out of balance (too acidic), we may experience low energy, fatigue, excess weight, poor digestion, aches and pains, and even more serious disorders.
The cycle of acidity begins primarily as a result of three things:
a. Ingesting acids. Eating too many acidifying foods like processed sugar, meats, dairy, coffee, alcohol, etc. Create an acid ash in the body. These acids can overload the body’s ability to neutralize them.
b. Creation of acids. Pathogens and microforms create acidifying toxins in the body. As the body becomes more and more acidic, bad bacteria, yeasts and other microforms proliferate in the body. Since these organisms are living, they eat as well as create resulting toxins. These toxins are often very acidifying.
c. Improper elimination of acids. Not all acids are the same; some are weak and some are strong. Weak acids like citric acid are much easier to neutralize than strong acids like uric acid. The body uses many systems in order to buffer acids including breath, mineral reserves, and fat. When the body’s buffering systems become compromised, excess acids build up.
The process of reestablishing acid-alkaline balance begins with proper diet and nutrition. This includes eating alkalizing foods (vegetables, low sugar fruits, etc.), super hydration (drinking plenty of alkaline water that is ionic and structured), and proper supplementation.
pH Balance begins with super hydration
Water is the most crucial factor in establishing and maintaining proper acid-alkaline balance. Since your body is 70% water, it is extremely important to constantly replenish your supply of it. The body loses 2.5 liters of water every day just through normal bodily functions. The quality of the water that you drink is just as important as the quantity of water you drink. The water you put in your body must be able to prevent toxins and chemical substances from accumulating and creating destructive influences on cells. Water must also transport minerals and nutrients required for cell metabolism, and remove any substances that can damage the cell. Ideally, the water you drink should have a ph between 9 and 10, and you should be drinking 3-4 liters of it daily.
In order to hydrate your body optimally, you need to drink water that is alkaline and ionized. Alkaline water helps to neutralize stored acids and toxins. Once these acids are neutralized, they can then be removed by the body. Alkaline water containing ionic minerals also acts as a conductor of electrochemical activity from cell to cell. Reports from studies suggest that ionized, alkaline water can help the body resist disease and slow aging by:
• Increasing Intracellular Hydration
• Replenishing Essential Minerals
• Stabilizing and Protecting Cells
• Helping To Maintain Normal Blood Flow and Acid Alkaline Balance
• Flushing Out and Preventing Wastes from Accumulating in Cells
• Preventing Free Radicals from Forming and Damaging Other Cells
